It's been a chilly week here.  The heat has been turned up, hats and mittens donned, and many cups of hot chocolate drunk. The snow fell midway through last week and it was especially exciting for my 2 year old to awaken and throw open the curtains to a soft blanket of powder dusting every surface.  The photo above was taken that morning as my husband headed out to warm the car into action.  I love seeing his footprints in the freshly fallen snow; his imprint that lasted all day.
