The Diptych Project: two friends (once neighbors & now an ocean apart), one theme
On Sunday, despite the cold and brisk wind we ventured out of the house for a mid-afternoon jaunt. I love going for longer walks on the weekends, but the cold weather of the past several months has kept us indoors a lot more often than any of us would want. We are hopeful for spring and in the meantime we are going to bundle up and get outside to make the most of these a bit less cold days:)!
There is a lovely canal that meanders through the west side of downtown. It is a peaceful place to walk and it is especially exciting for Samuel as there are always duck, geese, and dog sightings as well as some fountains and sculptures to look at.
I was thankful that the wind slowed down a bit and I was able to capture the beautiful reflection of the trees and lamp posts in the above photo. I really like how elegant their reflections look and how they move within the water.
You can see our previous diptychs here.
