2012 has been a huge year from our family: me being pregnant with Sebby, deciding to more to America, Adrian getting a new job, packing up our apartment, having Seb at home, saying goodbye to family and friends and London, moving to the states, and adjusting to life as a family of 4, a new job, city and country. Sigh... it was one big year. My heart still weighs heavy as I realize more and more that I am grieving from leaving England - missing the people and places that became home to me. Yet there has been so much beauty - most notably in the meeting of our darling Seb. He has brought so much joy and love in to all of our hearts and both he and his brother give us reason to smile every day.
We are hopeful for 2013. Hopeful that we will build a home in our new city, that friendships with grow both here and afar (so thankful for skype and facetime!), that we will get to see those we miss face to face, for creativity to blossom, for God's love to deepen in us, and for our family to make many more precious memories together.
