The Diptych Project: two friends (once neighbors & now an ocean apart), one theme
Top photo: Ann, bottom photo: Evie

This week's diptych photos are straight from our phones and I have to say I am pretty happy with how they turned out!  As much as I love the quality of the photos I take with my big, fancy camera, it just is not practical to carry all the time!  The camera on my phone is the one that is used the most and I love the ease of sharing it with others through email or text straight from the phone.

My photo was taken at a lovely arboretum and gardens located near my parent's home.  As you can see, it was a beautiful day and the sky was such a glorious shade of blue.  One of the things I like about this arboretum is that it showcases and preserves the natural beauty from the midwest of the states.  As you can see in the background of the photo there are huge vistas of prairies with beautiful flowers and wild grasses aplenty.
