The Diptych Project: two friends (once neighbors & now an ocean apart), one theme

I decided for this month's 'person with a passion' portrait to highlight my brother Stephen. He is such an amazing person (not that I am biased or anything) - he is a talented architect, has the most generous heart, and is a people magnet. He definitely stands out in a crowd being 6'5 with long reddish dreadlocks. I love walking around cities with him as people are always saying hello to him, making a comment about his hair, etc.. No one seems to be a stranger and he takes all in stride. He is so creative in the way he approaches life- whether it's designing a house, building a set, or creating a magical photo book for Samuel, but I think what sets him a part is the warmth he exudes to whomever crosses his path.
